This country will launch a satellite made of wood, this kind of experiment is being done for the first time in the world, the purpose is very special.

Japan has been surprising the world through unique experiments. Once Japanese scientists have accomplished such a feat that the whole world is surprised to see. Japanese scientist has created the world’s first satellite made of wood, which is ready to be launched soon. It has been named Lignoset. Lignoset is made from magnolia wood, which was found to be stable and crack-resistant in experiments conducted on the International Space Station. Now the plan to launch it from an American rocket this summer is being finalized.

According to the Guardian report, the satellite has been built by scientists from Kyoto University and logging company Sumitomo Forestry. The objective was to know how to use biodegradable materials like wood for space. This will show whether these things can be used as environmentally friendly alternatives or not.

This was the reason behind making
In fact, a few years ago, Japanese astronaut and aerospace engineer Takao Doi had said that all satellites burn up as soon as they re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere. These form small aluminum particles. These particles remain floating in the Earth’s upper atmosphere for many years. These will have an impact on the earth’s environment in the coming days. If they are made of wood, they will be completely destroyed and nothing will be left. Only after this the researchers decided to make a wooden satellite. Many different types of wood were examined. Their capability was checked to see whether they could withstand long flights in orbit around the Earth.

Samples sent to International Space Station
After testing, the samples were sent to the International Space Station. Testing took place for a year before bringing it to Earth from there. Scientists were surprised to see that there was no damage to the wood. The scientist believed that this happened because there is no oxygen in space, which can burn wood. It is not even a living thing that can rot. Murata, head of the research team, said, we tested many woods including Japanese cherry, but the wood of magnolia trees was found to be the strongest for making satellites. Therefore it was used in making satellites. If this is successful then it will open the door to the use of wood in satellites in the coming days. Many secrets will come out through this.
